Access downloaded Lima files on Android using the file system

Hey all,

I would like to propose that I am able to access my downloaded files (speaking of pdfs, mp3s and so on) using the normal file system, so I am able to access them using my preferred apps.

No, I don't want to use the "open with" functionality since I like for instance to make a playlist out of my MP3 files and use share this with others apps (for example: Loading MP3s with the Music app, generating a Playlist and using this list with the Zombies Run app.)

Can you please include a setting where this will be possible? I am also ok to "download" my files seperately on my phone to receive this functionality.

Best regards

Marc

This is so important. I want to use Lima like I use Dropbox. I want to download and install a ringtone for example.

Hi Lima Team,

To be honest this was one of the core functionalities I was expecting from Lima Android.

I would like to have the pinned folders and files appear somewhere in the phone filesystem so that I can use Lima as backup for my markdown files (but in general for everything I pin to be local) and also edit them from the phone directly.

Cheers

You seem to be able to do this on widows, the files just show up in a folder that can gets accessed normally. I was really expecting the same thing on Android too. This would really make the device very powerful, but without it, it is very limited. I was expecting to get able to listen to music using my favorite media player (doubletwist), but I can't.
