Have Lima Ultra and first version, Which Lima accessed first?

I do not see any improvement in the speed to which I can view things via Lima on my phone? Sometimes, when first opening, items are 'not available, on yellow Lima' - my first version is yellow. How do I get 'Ultra' to be the primary?

Also - if I have multiple 'accounts' - due to multiple first version Limas, how can I merge so I have only 1 account with Lima??

Overall - I feel like things are headed in the right direction - but there needs to be 'SUPPORT' to help those of us having issues.

I have the original Lima and have just purchased the Ultra. Do I use the Ultra alone with my existing hard drive, or do I use the original and Ultra in tandem?

Cory, each Lima needs its own harddrive. So first you need to get a second harddrive for the Ultra (ideally same size as other HD). You can run both in your home until they have synced and your data is on both. Then you can connect the old Lima with its HD at another location (at a friend's or family's house) for automatic offsite backup. You can also immediately put your old Lima in the other location but backing up might take a long time.

@Cory,

Please find here all the steps about installing a Lima Ultra as a replacement of your Lima Original.

Adam, it sounds like your device is still reading off your yellow Lima. Maybe the backup is still running and the files you are accessing are not yet on the Ultra. What does the Lima software on your computer say about the backup status?

Hi Chuck -

They are both fully backed up. I have been running them both for several weeks now. I just notice that when I open something say on my iPhone - it will initially state information is located on my 'yellow' lima versus 'ultra' .... once connected it just shows connected. This leads me to think it is accessing my original 'yellow' first as opposed to the new ultra.

Hello Adam,

Once your data are backed up on the Lima devices, they are shared with the Lima apps at the same time.

The only reason why you can see "on yellow Lima" is because it is the first Lima you installed.

This is a display issue. Thank you to have reporting this.

Best.
