Help! Started encryption now can't complete!

Hi there,

I just started setting up my Lima Ultra on my current generation of Macbook (USB-C). I am about 5% into the encryption when I realized I didn't have enough battery power left for the remaining 10.5 hours left. Being a current generation Macbook my computer only has one USB-C port which is also the powerport. I was using a USB-C/USB 2 adapter to connect the external hard drive. I need to disconnect the drive to recharge the computer.

I just read the Lima help site that the drive shouldn't be ejected until the encryption is complete as this could damage the HDD. Can someone help me? I'm down to 20% battery so it wont last to keep encrypting. I'm considering unplugging anyway and setting up on my desktop... Help?

UPDATE

I had to unplug my HDD from the Macbook and tested it on the desktop. The HDD seems to be fine, I can even access the original files. I tried to relaunch the Lima app on my desktop in the hopes I could continue the encryption but it doesn't come up anymore. Instead, it opens my new Lima "network".

I hooked the HDD to the Lima and can now see a handful of files I had on the HDD but only about 5% worth (that's how much was encrypted). Can anyone assist me in encrypting the rest of the HDD?
