I have the same problem . I have a broken disk connected to my Lima Ultra. So I am not able to copy the files Lima needs to a new drive.

Support desk is not responding to any support requests....

if the old disk isn't completely bloken, you can copy the invisible ".Lima" folder from the old disk to the new.

if it's totally kaput, de-link the old disk with the utility menu bar menu, and install new disk pairing as a new one.

(all this on Macs)

I think it's a solution

It’s totally broken. I install a new one but after a new installation is not recognized there is message that it’s an unknown disk...! I think they have to do something to make it work

It does not work for me either. I use the windows software and there is no option to de-link or disconnect the old broken drive. I did post my question to Lima support on 5 dec. however no reply received at all....

Thank you for your suggestion Emilio.

I finaly found something that is working for me.

I use windows software on Win 10 PC.

First go to the Lima app to the setting section. There you must Reset Account.

Then un-install the Lima app from all devices including PC, IOS and Android. Than re-install the PC Lima app.

and start all over. Your Lima account will not work anymore but you can choose to create a new account (and just use te same username and password). Follow the Lima App install procedure with a fresh formatted HDD.

Please note that this will do a complete fresh installation, so all old information will be gone and you will be able to use a different HDD.

Succes to you all, I hope this will work for you as well (Lima support is still not responding at all, I thought all kickstarter and startup companies are agile. Lima must be very busy improving the platform....)

Thanks Menno

I'll try when I come back home.

All the steps you describe are logic.

Thnx!
