iPhone 6S Plus battery usage

I have a new iPhone 6S Plus, that's a little over 4 months old, In non-lima install the battery will go nearly all day before it needs a recharge.

I installed Lima and opened the APP because I want the phone to sync with my contents., I plugged the phone into the electrical socket so that it would have continual power the app said something about doing a large transfer and displayed a rotating circles icon. The phone is on the same wireless router as the Lima is plugged into by Ethernet)

When I got up this morning I had 6% left in my battery, (all other open apps where closed).

What is the App doing that pulls so much power that the wall socket can't keep the battery charged fast enough?

I have the same problem with my iPhone 6 and have disconnected it from Lima. The initial sync fails every time, and the battery life is significantly reduced. As far as I am concerned the Lima app is unusable in its current state.

At least on my iPad the initial sync just fails, I don't see the battery being such an issue. . .

My android does the same. It is virtually to hot to hold when uploading.

All in all I'm glad I still have my google drive.....

I'm lucky that I was able to get a refund on this product. But it seems that a lot of other unsuspecting buyers were not as lucky.

Shocked that this startup would release such a shoddy product that has cost lots of people their valuable data (including mine).

Yep. This app drains a _ton_ of power on any mobile device (iOS or Android). I "disable" it by restricting it to only be allowed to upload to the Lima drive when connected to WiFi...and then I just disable WiFi, but this should not be the permanent "solution".

...and even when "disabled" by limiting to WiFi I see Lima as the app with the highest power consumption. It's usually 2-3 times "Screen" or "Android OS". Might have to uninstall it until these issues are fixed actually!

Hot iPhone (6s and 6), and it drains a ton of battery. Listening to music, it takes about 40% in 10 minutes. This cannot stay that way!

It's not only the iPhone 6 or 7, also the new X get's drained within an hour of playback while the played files have been saved offline beforehand. Wifi and bluetooth disabled, screen off - won't last 60 minutes...

Phone or software version didn't really matter within the last 6 months (had/tried multiple). Is there a fix scheduled for this issue. Other streaming apps only take a minor portion of the battery.

Oh - and my Galaxy S7 has the exact same issue. Does not really matter what setting/tweaks I use.
