HDD > My HDD format is incorrect. Can't finish Lima Desktop app setup.

I just got my Lima Ultra. I have formatted and re-formatted my brand new 4TB Seagate backup plus HDD several times. And still, while running the desktop setup inside the Lima application, it says "waiting for hard drive" and after a few minutes, gives me an error code and says that the drive must be formatted in 1 of a few listed formats. Well, I formatted the drive already to NTFS... Please help.

I had same Problem. My disk is a WD and a small security app on my computer asked to unlock the disk. So I stopped this and now it works. But BEFORE I had to disconnect it completely from my Lima account, then restart computer, then start installation again from the beginning!

I got the 5TB Seagate Backup Plus and it shows formatted to NTFS mine never finishes the protecting personal data a screen and gets stalled there. Lima does seeithe new HD when hooked to my computer, how do you get by that block I am seeing, same security issue??

I had to turn off security bitdefender software, hard to do must go to Win 10 safe mode bootup then run msconfig.exe to disable the program go back thru Lima setup with normal boot setup and then go back safe mode boot to re-enable bitdefender, all good now except fighting LIMA wanting more of my HD in laptop than I can give for cache setup.

I have a 4TB Western Digital Drive. I have formatted to EXT4 and HFS+. My mac sees the drive perfectly but I cant finish the setup on lima.. it still says that no hard drive is found.
