"Share via Link" does not work

"Share via Link" does not work when the receiving user has a Mac OS X or iOS browser. ("The content you are looking for is currently not available.") I have no way to verify whether or not this is working for any platform. When is this critical functionality expected to be working?

Hello Don,

Thanks for reaching us out!

Sorry to read you're experiencing trouble generating a Share Link. Please be sure we're here for you.

In order to fix this setback, could you please take the steps below:

  1. This first step should be followed only If your Lima is online: eject your Lima Drive from the Lima menu > Preferences > STATUS as described here. When the disk is confirmed as ejected, you will see a confirmation message. This may take a minute.
  2. Unplug your USB drive.
  3. Unplug the ethernet cable between Lima and your router. If you have any doubt about your ethernet cable integrity, try to replace it with another one.
  4. Disconnect Lima from the power supply connection.
  5. Power OFF/ON your router.
  6. Plug the ethernet cable between Lima and your router again.
  7. Plug the USB drive to the Lima.
  8. Reconnect Lima to the supply.
  9. Wait for 5 minutes then verify that you have an Internet connection and try again.

Moreover, please note that if you move the file concerned in the Share Link you're trying to send, then the link becomes obsolete.

In any case, if your mishap remains, please contact our Support Team, which will be glad to try and help!

Have a nice day, thanks for being a part of our journey!
